It’s already a few weeks now since my “internet free” break.

My first task was to check my email and tend to any unanswered questions from my clients and members. More than 90% of my inbox was filled with spam emails … surprise, surprise. I wasn’t expecting many legitimate emails since I’ve changed all my websites’ “contact us” link to go to my online helpdesk. And my wonderful virtual assistant replies to all my helpdesk tickets while I’m “away”.

Nevertheless, having to click on the “DELETE” button for all the spam emails is enough to make me moody for the rest of the week.

Second on my list was to do a quick read of my favourite blogs and see what I’ve been missing while I was away. My oh my. Trust me, this is not something that you’d want to do after a long break. (Yes, 3 weeks is a long break in internet terms).

I’m so overwhelmed by what’s new on the net that my brain’s gone completely blank. Everyday I log on to my blog to write a new post and I have no idea where to begin, how to pick up where I left off.

Am I suffering from writer’s block or is it just the ole information overload syndrome?

So my new daily blog routine is now:

  1. Log on
  2. Stare at the screen for a minute or two
  3. Log off

So, instead of updating my blog, I’ve decided to channel my energy to creating new video tutorials for my Website Workshop. If you’re a Website Workshop member, you’re in for a pleasant surprise. If you’re not a Website Workshop member yet, now would be a good time to become one Wink.
