If you read my post yesterday, you probably noticed how I started to get a bit off track, going off about crappy web pages that have been put up simply to earn an Adsense ad. I thought I’d give it a rest but reading what Alice had to say about it, struck a chord in me :-)

In the past few months, I’ve bought some internet marketing products in the hope of increasing my Adsense income. And they pretty much teach me about, what Alice described as:

building garbage, getting traffic, having the search engines catch on and ban me, then rebuild again.

When Alice says garbage … she really means garbage. For those of you who don’t get it, try taking the dictionary and typing out the words into sentences. And then paragraphs. And then just slap some Adsense ads on the page. Who wouldn’t click on those ads? The ads are the only thing that can be understood.

Those who are a bit more ethical would take some time to write out three paragraphs of useful information and just change the order around for each keyword. And I’m not talking about a few keywords. More like a few hundred.

I don’t know but, I don’t feel comfortable about making heaps of money this way. It wouldn’t be something that I would brag to my friends and neighbours about.

This is why I would recommend a complete newbie to Ken Evoy’s Site Build It. Ken has a solid business model and teaches you to build quality sites that will earn you ongoing income. Not just for the next few months til the latest fad dies down. But for many years to come.

If you’re not ready for SBI, then at least read Ken Evoy’s “The Affiliate Masters Course”. Although it was written with an affiliate in mind, it’s good reading for anyone interested in making money from a web site. You can download a free copy of this guide from this link.
