Firefox is in my eye the best web browser there is. It is way more safer than IE7 and works a treat. That’s not all though, with Firefox you can also install some cool and useful Plugins that allow you to do just about anything (except cook dinner). I wanted to introduce you to some of them so that you can see what is possible.

image Firefox Companion for eBay: if you are an eBay shop-aholic, then you will love this Plugin as it allows you to keep track of on your eBay trading, regardless of where you are online. Stay on top of your bids and become a master bidder with this Firefox Plugin.

This Plugin is free for all.

image PicLens: with PicLens you will enjoy a total new experience in the way you view pictures online. It adds a lot of interactivity and transfrorms any browser into a full 3D application. PicLens currently works on both Mac and Windows and you can see pics from:

Flickr, Smugmug, DeviantArt, Photobucket, Picasa, FotoTime, Fotki, Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Hi5, Friendster, image search on Google, Yahoo, Ask, Live, and AOL, and a growing number of Media RSS-enabled web sites.

image Interclue: is great for beginners who don’t know their way around a browser. Since the Plugin provides the ultimate in link previews in a compact form, the user has a great overview on where the links lead to.

It’s kind of like getting a preview before you click on any link.

image AdBlock Plus: if you get annoyed at ads and ad banners and worry about slow loading times of your browser (especially when you are on a dial up connection) then AdBlock Plus will come as a godsend.

You can elect to block all ads at will and make browsing the web more fun.

All in all, there are hundreds of Firefox Plugins out there and the list only grows every week. If you click on the previous link it will show you the main Firefox Plugin page also called addons. If you browse the numerous Plugins you will see many things you’ll find useful.

As with all applications, you can go overboard too, so try to remember to keep them low.
