Google Sites is a new online application launched by Google at the end of last month. Much like Squidoo and Hubpages, Google Sites allow you build free websites.

But Google sites is more than what Squidoo page is. Much like with Google Docs, you can share information with team members, employees or family members through online collaboration.

WordPress is the preferred choice blogging platform for a lot of bloggers these days. The other day, WordPress celebrated their fifth birthday and they have certainly come a long way since they started out.

When bloggers first download their WordPress theme, they often don’t know what to do to customize the looks of their blog to stand apart from their competition.

While premium WordPress themes are a great way to add zing to your blog, not everybody can afford them. Therefore learning a bit of CSS and HTML doesn’t hurt at all. In fact, the more you learn some of the basic coding languages of HTML and PHP, the better you will be able to customize your WordPress blog design.

Google is the queen bee of online search engines, no questions asked. While other engines have gained good recognition, such as Yahoo or Live Search by MSN, Google is still and will most likely always be number one.

The thing with Google is that unless you are indexed with them, nobody will ever know that your site even exists. Indexing drives a lot of people insane. They worry why their site hasn’t been indexed yet and they do the worst thing ever, namely to submit their site to the various search engines by hand.

While this does work, it is the worst thing you can do if speed is of the essence. Hand submissions take up to 3 months (and sometimes even longer) until they are being reviewed by Google or other engines.
