Dumped Essendon midfielder Elijah Tsatas appears set to earn a career lifeline with multiple clubs inquiring about the youngster.
Tsatas, who was taken with pick No.5 in the 2022 AFL draft, managed just 22 games across four years at the Bombers.
7NEWS reporter Xander McGuire revealed there is confidence the 21-year-old will land a list spot for next year.

While Tsatas never kicked on at the Bombers, he has shown plenty of potential in limited opportunities.
In six AFL games this year, Tsatas averaged over 24 touches and four clearances, but he has often been criticised for his defensive efforts.
Tsatas was delisted this year, along with veteran pair Matt Guelfi and Jade Gresham, Saad El-Hawli and Liam McMahon.
Essendon also farewelled star midfielder Zach Merrett and veteran defender Jordan Ridley during the trade period.
They brought in Jack Bowes and Keidean Coleman, and are armed with pick No.1 in this year’s draft.
“We’re really excited to get some great outcomes for the footy club. We came into this period to hopefully bring in one-to-two players. We’ve been able to do that, and then enhance our draft hand, which we feel like we’ve got a good result from,” list boss Matt Rosa said.
“We’re pumped about the picks that we’ve got leading into the draft, and we’ve also been able to enhance the next couple of years as well.” “It was a priority for us to maintain our early picks in the draft. We’re excited about the names up the top of our board, right at the pointy end. But we also think there’s some real depth through the draft.”
