The 7NEWS Melbourne newsroom baby boom continues, with reporter and weekend weather presenter Tyra Stowers and her partner, Collingwood dual All-Australian Dan Houston, announcing they are expecting a new little teammate in March.
The couple have confirmed they are expecting a baby girl, with Tyra saying she is “really excited” and “feeling great”.
“I’ve lost count of how many babies our Melbourne newsroom has had in the past year,” Tyra said.

“It’s perfect for Dan and me, as there will be lots of tips and tricks from the new mums and dads I work with on bringing up a baby.”
Dan said he was “super excited and over the moon”.
“I can’t wait for next March. It will be a big March, with the little one arriving and the start of the AFL season,” he said.
“So, we are both looking forward to next March for sure.”
The couple, who are already parents to fur babies Hugo and George, are thrilled their family is growing.
“The boys will have a little sister, and they will be very happy. Boxers are known as nanny dogs — they are really good with babies and children,” Tyra said.
