Aussie company Mustard Made has made a name for itself over the past eight years for its stylish, colorful, and retro metal storage lockers for homes, offices, and kids’ rooms.
Everything the female-founded multi-million-dollar company launches brings a pop of mood-boosting colour to any space.
And business is booming more than ever.
With celebrity fans including Paris Hilton, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Amanda Seyfried, as well as interior designers and regular homeowners like myself, Mustard has carved out a space for itself in the crowded world of homewares, thanks to its major point of difference.

Mustard Made famously came about when Becca Stern, 35, from Newcastle, NSW, and her sister Jess Stern, 32, who lives in London, became passionate about working together and bringing their unusual idea for coloured metal lockers to life.
The name Mustard Made came into existence because Becca and Jess knew that colour was going to be one of the defining features of the brand.
The sisters understood that while not everyone loves lockers, those who do feel passionately about them — much like mustard.
They launched in 2018 via a wholesale approach, partnering up with several leading homewares stores and doing a showing at a trade show, where they promptly sold out.
And now, the extended Mustard collection features several distinct styles — including the Shorty, the Skinny, the Lowdown, the Midi and the Twinny — all available in 11 bold colours, which range from neutral slate to on-trend blush hues, berry, olive and, of course, mustard.
I particularly love the glass-fronted Mixer style for general dining room storage or a coffee table solution, but really on the site there is something for everyone, and they also make really cute bedside tables.
